If you’re a parent, guardian, or all-around superhero to a dancer, you know the hustle.
You get them to school, help with homework, drive to practice, pack snacks, remember costumes, and cheer the loudest in the audience. You juggle a hundred moving pieces every day, and still somehow keep going.
Here at Leighton Dance Project, we want you to know: we see you.
And we believe your dancer’s class time can be your time, too.
While your dancer is learning, moving, and creating magic in the studio, you have a golden opportunity… 30, 45, or 60 minutes that are entirely yours. You can spend it recharging, being productive, or simply enjoying a moment to yourself.
Some parents like to stay nearby, others drop off and go. Either way is 100% okay. Our team has your contact info and will reach out if we need you, so you can truly focus on yourself for a little while.
Whether you’re in the mood for a break or want to knock a few things off your to-do list, here are our favorite nearby options:

Parenting is full of moments where your needs are the first thing to get pushed aside. Dance class is more than just an investment in your dancer’s growth, it’s also a chance for you to take a breath, get something done, or enjoy a little “me time” without guilt.
So next time you drop off your dancer, remember: this is your time, too.
We’re here cheering for them… and for you.
