Ignite Lab
Two weeks. Four edits. One goal: leave stronger, sharper, and more confident than when you walked in. Pick your edits, find your crew, and get the kind of training that actually moves the needle: Technique, Artistry, Power, and Rhythm, built for dancers who are ready to work.
Choose Your Edit
A two week customizable intensive for advanced, pre professional dancers. Every edit is 5 days and built morning or evening, so it fits your dancer's goals and your family's schedule. Mini, Senior Crew, and Company dancers need 2 edits total.
Ignite Lab is open to the public. You don't need to be an LDP dancer to train with us this summer. Dancers from any studio in the Sacramento area and beyond are welcome, this is your shot to train alongside industry professionals who work on Broadway, national tours, and the convention circuit.

What to Know Before You Go
Everything your dancer needs to show up ready, from check-in to the studio bag.
The Logistics
The essentials for drop-off, pick-up, and the hours in between.
Check-In & Drop-Off
Check in at the LDP front desk. Drop-off can happen anytime up to 20 minutes before a session starts.
Pick-Up Window
Please plan to pick up dancers right when their last session of the day ends. Front desk staff hold a 15 minute grace period if you're running a little behind.
Between-Edit Break
Staying for morning and afternoon edits? Dancers can hang in the student lounge to rest, eat, and recharge between sessions. Front desk stays staffed the whole time. This is separate from the pick-up window above, so no need to rush. Just ask dancers to clean up after themselves.
Water & Snacks
Bring a water bottle, we've got a filling station on site. Peanut free snacks are welcome between classes and on breaks in the halls.
Label Everything
Water bottles, shoes, and bags should all have your dancer's name on them. With up to 17 guest teachers moving through over two weeks, labeled gear makes it easy to reunite dancers with their stuff.
