I had no idea

Things families wish they’d known sooner

The things that make the biggest difference once families know them. We’re sharing them here so you don’t have to find out the hard way.

01

“I didn’t know how class placement actually works.”

Following EPIC Week, LDP teachers send personalized level recommendations for each dancer based on their proficiency and growth. Moving up is based on readiness, technique, and consistency — not simply completing a year in a class. Our goal is always to place every dancer where they will feel confident, challenged, and successful. And if a dancer isn’t quite ready to move up fully, they might continue in their current level while also trying the next one simultaneously — so no one ever feels left behind.

02

“I didn’t know every dancer performs in both shows.”

All Cutie Club and Club dancers are automatically included in both of our annual performances — Winter Wonderland and Annual Review. No extra sign-up needed. And the color associated with each show is visible right in the class title, so if you’re enrolling in multiple classes you can easily see which ones share the same show — making scheduling a breeze.

03

“I didn’t know back-to-back classes were an option.”

The schedule is intentionally designed so dancers can stack classes on the same day. Look for the back-to-back classes icon in the printable schedule to see which classes pair nicely together — both for building a great weekly routine and for coordinating performances across shows.

04

“I didn’t know about the full-season membership.”

Committing to the full season means one enrollment, both shows, double the keepsakes and photos, and the best per-week value LDP offers.
