Try a New Style Week | Fall Session
Heads up
New styles, new favorites, no pressure.
There's no rulebook here, just curiosity. The dancers who try the most classes usually walk away with the most new favorites, so we say try them all, at your own pace, on your own terms.

What is Try a New Style Week?
For one week, your dancer can pop into classes outside their usual style and see what sparks their joy. Every class stays within their own age group, so the room is full of familiar faces even when the style is brand new. It is a low-stakes way to explore, and every dancer who tries is welcome exactly as they are.

Three steps to your dancer's next favorite class
STEP 01
Choose your classes
Use the form to select which trial classes your dancer wants to sample, all within their current age group.
STEP 02
Borrow what you need
No tap shoes at home? No worries. Stop by the front desk. We keep loaner shoes on hand so gear is never the reason to sit out.
STEP 03
Show up and try it
Come to class ready to move. That is the whole assignment. We will take care of the rest.
Why it's worth trying
Taking more than one style makes a stronger, happier dancer
Dancers who train across styles do not just collect a new skill. They build a more complete foundation, and they usually have more fun doing it.
Technique
A more versatile mover
Tap sharpens rhythm. Ballet builds control. Hip hop trains groove and dynamics. Each style strengthens something the others do not, and your dancer carries all of it back to their main class.
Confidence
Comfort with the unfamiliar
Walking into a new room and trying something you are not automatically good at yet builds real confidence, the kind that shows up on stage and off.
Body & Injury Prevention
Cross training for growing dancers
Different styles use the body differently. Mixing it up gives overused muscles a break and builds strength in new places, which supports a healthier, more balanced dancer long term.
Community
New friends, same studio
Trying a class outside their usual group means meeting dancers they might not otherwise cross paths with. More friends, more fun, same second home.
No pressure, promise
You don't need to be ready. You just need to show up.
