WELCOME GRACE! Grace is one of our 6-Week Summer Session Tap Instructors!
THIS SUMMER: My class will consist of introducing basic tap steps and technique. Since tap shoes are instruments and we are making music with our feet, it’s important for tap dancers to understand the basics of music theory, so we will also be focusing on the most commonly used note values in music. Tap has a rich and exciting history so as we work on our tap steps and musicality, I will also be sharing some fun facts of tap history. Let’s tap through summer together!! FUN FACT: When I'm not at LDP, I am working at Karen's Bakery and Cafe! I love making coffee drinks and hot chocolate for friends. I have also been known to share a tap step or two with customers!
